Sunday

a short film by Bridget Le May

________________________________________________________________________________________________

a little bit goes a long way. . .

 help us to grow!

"Film is a hard industry; you can either stand around in a line waiting for work to come to you,                       .      or you can make your own.  I'd prefer to make my own."  - Bridget Le May

The story of Sunday has an amazing ability to catch people. To grab their interest and hold them there gently. Every time I show the scrip to someone I hold my breath a little. This is because almost every person I show it to; I'm about to ask if they will work on the film. The response has been overwhelming! Not only does this pull me further toward the essence and feeling of the film, it also means Sunday has an amazing cast and crew behind it. And they are all there because they want to be. Each individual is contributing their time, skills and energy make it the stunning and raw journey that it is, and will be.

We are shooting Sunday in mid January. Without the amazing dedication of the Sunday team, the great generosity from Metro Screen in providing discounted gear and the sincere warmth from the people of Blacktown this film could not be made. But we do need some extra help.

and this is where you come in. . .

we need to raise $3000 to cover production costs.

If 150 people contribute $20 we can make the film!

. . .and if you're feeling in a wonderfully helpful mood, you could, like, follow and subscribe to us as well.

“When Bridget approached me to work on “Sunday” I remember reading the story for the first time, immediately, colour palettes, typography, smell and sounds of the film came alive. I remember having to immediately capture it all into a song, which I recorded on my guitar and box drum so I won't lose the essence that was in my mind.”
