In this technology-driven age, how can two people connect? Sean wants to find out. His boyfriend gave him love, technology, facebook and other drugs. Then decided to pull the plug. Only to keep him on-line to 'tag' and 'like' him whenever it suits... Now all Sean’s got is a phone he doesn’t know how to use and an old school friend who just wants to talk about dildos. How can he make sense of the world when all the world wants to do is ‘poke’ him?
We all have a story to tell. Say the words "Facebook Stalker" or "Love that Hurts" and everyone will start to talk.
This is "that" story
The Bitter End is Kurt Phelan’s debut play. This production marks the world premier of this amazing new work and promises a night of laughs and heart-felt beauty, not to be missed. It will have its premiere as a part of the Midsumma festival in Melbourne during January 2012. The Bitter End needs a little help with all those things that can hold a great new play back from getting off the ground; Rehearsal venues, getting the actors down to melb's, av design and publicity posters and what not.
The play has been in delvopment since the start of the year with all involved working for the love of it. But it has been in the head of the writer for a lot longer. Many bright minds have read and contributed to it along the way, and it is time to have it see the light of day, and put it infront an audence. Now I am faced with the challenge of getting it up...! (Yes I did just say that)
So, we are calling all art lovers to help x
