Curated by Iris SiYi Shen, this project aims to explores the
interactions between art making and the public as viewer. Occupying the
public gallery space for two weeks, my works will be generated through
experimentation and result in site-specific installations outside of the
normal confines of my studio space. Emphasis will be placed on my
creative processes, with a particular focus on the related links between
practice, practitioner and the public. The final outcome of project
will be ideally presented at the end of the two week time frame with an
open day at the gallery.
I have included a Vimeo link to a documentary that was recently created by Rob Stanton-Cook about me and my work practice for his Slashies site (www.slashies.com.au) so you can understand a bit more about what it is that I do!
