What's going on?
"The Bad Boys of Music Theatre: Are not Quite Right in the Head" (blurb below) is a romp through John and Andrew's collective dysfunctional subconscious peppered with music, sprinkled with dancing, and served with a healthy side of comedy - at least, it will be with your help!

Buddhists say, 'Life is Pain'. Psychiatrists prefer 'Life is Pain, I have a pill for that' and psychologists counter 'Life is Pain, deal with it!'. However, people in the entertainment industry know that 'Life is Pain... working with the Bad Boys of Music Theatre'.

This is our MICF blurb for the hour long Cabaret that is "The Bad Boys of Music Theatre are: Not Quite Right in the Head"!
Buddhists say, 'Life is Pain'. Psychiatrists prefer 'Life is Pain, I have a pill for that' and psychologists counter 'Life is Pain, deal with it!'. However, people in the entertainment industry know that 'Life is Pain... working with the Bad Boys of Music Theatre'.
You'd have to be nuts to work in showbiz... so I guess these two are perfect for it. With an hour long therapy session filled with upstaging, narcissism, emotional repression, identity issues and p*nis – that is – mum jokes, you can watch these two work through their problems – all while projecting so hard you’ll need to change the bulb after their hour is up!
This year, we're already working on another original music video, a tonne of comedic multimedia inserts, a professional lighting rig, som patently absurd dance, and all round inappropriateness wrapped in beautiful harmony singing. You see, we like to do things with very own, very BAD BOYS style and (thanks to you) we can!
How can you help?
It's simple! We're looking for people to help us make this new show a reality, and with the aid of the good folks at Pozible, that couldn't be easier!
We have been investing in our own work for over 2 years, but we believe now is the time to take the experience to the next level. We continue to raise our expectations, and push the boundaries of what we can do.
To make that possible, we have once again enlisted our loyal team of fellow performers, a camera-man/editor/wunderkind extrordinaire, a lighting designer, musicians and our accompanist who all work professionally within the industry. First and foremost, this money will ensure each of these vital individuals can be paid AT LEAST what they're worth! Of course, we also have a long list of props, venue hire expenses, costuming, and puppet creation to take care of!
The money that we're asking for is only a part of the total sum that our show is going to cost us, but it's a great start! $3000 will make sure we can put on the show we want the world to see. It would make us as sad as puppy's without a home at christmas to have to compromise on delivering the biggest, best performance we can give... and we know you wouldn't want us to be sad... like those poor, adorable, wide-eyed puppies who just need love... riiiiiiiiiight?

If you can, make it personal - let people know why/if you love/hate us and why we'd be a good investment/thing that would annoy your enemies when you share it!
So, Facebook, Twitter, email, word of mouth, smoke signal... all of these will help get the word out - and the more people that know about us, the more chance we have of reaching our goal!
