We've been producing youth theatre plays since 1991, giving young people a chance to develop confidence, self-esteen and expression by learning about theatre and performing in productions. Recently we've been mentoring emerging professionals as well as giving opportunities to 13-26 year olds to learn and take part. We want to make shows in professional venues and support the young people with professional directors, designers and production staff giving them a taste of industry-level production values. Previous members have developed the confidence to enter their chosen careers and do well, and some have even done well and made careers on stage, film and TV like Tim Minchin and Claire Hooper.
Our Artistic Director is Phil Thomson, an experienced and wise theatre director with a great reputation for working with young people, indigenous groups and mulit-cultural performers.

We are funded by the Department of Culture and the Arts and Healthway, but not enough. We only have two part-time staff and the cost of putting on this quality of work is higher than we are funded for. The two thousand dollars we seek represents less than ten percent of the project budget, but it means that a professional lighting or sound designer can be brought in to support these young people, making them look and sound fantastic on stage.
We are a charity with Deductible Gift recipient (DGR) status, so if you choose No Reward you are eligible for your donation to be tax deductible.
