We are converting one (and in the future another) shipping container into a sustainable, portable and versatile space for exhibitions, performance, artists' workshops etc. Let's reclaim art for everyone - it's not the preserve of the high-brow elite and the high-rent galleries.
Sustainable: Each container is powered by a 130 watt solar panel and a deep cycle battery , skylights are made from recycled glass, timber floors are made from wood reclaimed from shipping pallets.
Portable: The containers can be moved by truck to new locations, and because they are solar powered do not need a power source. Storage is easy and cheap when not in use.
Versatile: The containers configure in different ways for use as a gallery, a stage, a workspace etc.

The exterior of the gallery will be used to showcase the best street artists in the host location, the interior to showcase more traditional mediums.
