TELEVISION DOCUMENTARY SERIES
THE WORLD'S GREATEST LOVE LETTER

This history-making television series will create the greatest love letter in the world. In each episode, one country — and the cities, towns and villages within it — will be scoured for love letters. Each episode is divided into three parts:

PART ONE — Lovers across the country share boxes of love letters and tell all their juicy intricacies on camera. We discover the personal importance of certain words, phrases, handwriting styles, paper stock, scent, delivery methods and their collective emotional impact.

PART TWO — Masses of love letters from all over the country are spread out on a large architect’s table. A team of psychologists and experts analyse the letters for common themes, phrases, concepts, words, paper stocks, scents, handwriting styles and other sickly-sweet awesomeness. Using scientific methods, they create THE GREATEST LOVE LETTER IN THE COUNTRY. It should melt anyone’s heart… (on paper, at least).

PART THREE — A group of lovers will give the greatest love letter in the country to their partners. Their partners offer commentary on the impact of the letters. Will their hearts melt with affection after receiving this universal love document?

"Letters", in this TV series, can be anything from hand-written snail-mail letters, emails, texts, post-it notes, carvings in wood, lipstick on a mirror, writings in the sky.

PILOT EPISODE
* AUSTRALIA'S GREATEST LOVE LETTER *

If successful, all funds will go towards creating a pilot episode, which kicks off the series right here, in Australia. The team will scour the major cities, small towns, deserts and unpronounceable rural areas for love letters. The actual budget is well over $16,000, although this amount will go far. We will actively pitch this pilot to a-list distributors and television networks. We will do whatever is necessary to screen this universally-appealing documentary series on a major television network.

This documentary series taps right into a universal interest: Expressions of love. We want to know: how are they composed? What are they made up of? How do they make us feel? Are there similarities across cultures? Are they formulaic or individualised? Is it really Hallmark, Mills & Boon and Hollywood blockbusters telling us how to feel? How do you do the whole love thing?

Having created the greatest love letters in 10 countries throughout the series, our team of experts scientifically mash together the finest elements into... wait for it - the *ultimate one-page universal love document* – THE WORLD'S GREATEST LOVE LETTER!

Lovers across the globe will simultaneously administer the said ethereal letter. Their partners offer commentary on the impact of the letters. Will they turn into hopeless puddles after being given the world's greatest love letter? Can universal love be expressed in a single A4 page?
