The Den Magazine is moving toward it's third edition.
In our time so far we have created two great magazines which have covered so much ( gay conversion school, queer and religion, intersex, coming out in the country and the list goes on), we have put on two amazing launches (featuring Monique Schafter, Zoe K and The Shadow Katz, Goodnight Tiger , Hey Lady and again the list goes on and on), we have presented talks at Newcastle University, hosted peaceful equality rallies, were apart of the Independent Queer Publishers stall at Mardi Gras 2012 and we are so proud, and so far from finished.
But we need your help.
To print our magazine costs money, to hold our event costs money, to pay artists and soundies costs money.
We have received great help from many local business, unreal volunteers and awesome arts organisations, but ultimately when it comes to covering the costs we dig deep into our fairly empty pockets.
What we want to achieve this time around is massive and a bigger task than previous magazines and we simply cannot do it alone.
The Den Magazine Edition 3 will cost (3500) to print, to bring it to a quality our community deserves.
The Launch featuring numerous regional and queer artists (including Brendan Maclean) - Will cost around (2500).
As you can see costs are high, but the rewards are greater.
Get behind a project that is out their to build a stronger, richer community.
