I was recently accepted into an incredible program overseas that will allow me to begin my career as a creative independent producer on an international scale and give me the resources and skills to produce creative film projects that I am passionate about. These projects are almost exclusively films relating to social equality. My project is a journey that begins in Los Angeles.

The Peter Stark Producing Program is a 2 year, full time Masters in Fine Arts program at the University of Southern California. It is a prestigious program that admits only 25 American and International students each year. The University of Southern California is considered the best film school in the world by The Hollywood Reporter, and the Peter Stark Producing Program is considered the best Producing Program in the world. The program offers an intimate learning environment and incredible opportunities including compulsory internships with working independent producers or major film studios or networks, individual mentoring from distinguished film industry producers and competitive funding for producing extra curricular short films. I have already been assigned a second year mentor!

My funding goal is $5000 to assist in the many expenses of moving overseas that simply add up, these include passport renewal fees, visa fees, flight costs, insurance, and initial accommodation. I am aware that US graduate study costs many more thousands of dollars, however every little bit counts and I am saving my own funds as best as any person can in these conditions of high living costs.
