ABitOnTheSide productions is asking for support to raise funds for the first Creative Development of the new theatrical work, Ephemera. Funds raised for the project will go towards a week of workshopping the new script.
Ephemera is a new Australian work that examines the idea of identification & history making within the gay community, particularly focusing on the HIV-epidemic. The project is currently working with personal narratives through interviews and archival research to develop the new work that will be launched during Mardi Gras 2012.
During this development, the project writer Adam Deusien will be working with director Luke Kerridge and dramaturg Carolyn Eccles to workshop the first draft of the new script. Funds raised will be used to pay for rehearsal space and the hiring of 2 x actors.
All support is greatly appreciated.
