Medwin&McGarry is about Up-cycled, Recycled and Australian Made; Fine Art, Furniture and Interiors, giving creators of Medwin&McGarry along side other inspirational creatives an opportunity to sell “One Off Creations” to the Cash starved up to the Spoilt Rotten!...

In just three weeks we are opening a retail space in the contemporary creative community of Daylesford Victoria. This business "venture adventure" has been in planing for several months now and we've been working hard to create one off items that are environmentally conscious, locally made and ethically desirable.

However sadly two weeks ago we hit a snag when our Mac computers and digital cameras we're stollen from our house in a home invasion setting us back financially, having to purchase a new computer to enable us to continue doing the business basics...

Our Pozible funding goal of $2500 is to keep our dream on track! we have the retail space bond and rent covered for the first two months but this robbery has greatly impacted our other costings with outfitting the retail space & getting it to the point of opening on time.


Budget Breakdown For Shop Fit Out:

* Counter Fitting: $500

* Electrical Fit Out: $400

* Point of Sale System: $400

* Signage: $400

* Shop Display fittings: $300

* Painting: $300

* Advertising: $200



What we have done so far:

*Paid Bond and Signed a Lease for Shop 11, Rex Arcade Daylesford Victoria

*Sourced, Purchased & Produced Various stock from Recycled, Upcycled and Australian Made Products in the guise of Artworks, Furniture and Home wares.

* Constructed and Paid for website http://www.medwinandmcgarry.com

* Business Banking accounts set up, EFTPOS facility, obtained Public liability and Business insurance

* Had branding and logo's designed and produced

* Business cards designed and printed

* Set up and maintained social media presence; Facebook, Instagram & Twitter

* Drawn up Partnership Agreement.

* ABN & ASIC memberships paid for sorted!

* Market research on location, products and competition in the area.

* We are using as many recycled materials as possible to up-cycle or repurpose into new products, in addition to this all our products are Australian made and locally sourced.

With leases signed, sealed and delivered we are asking for your Help to keep this project from falling over before its begun. 

We will be showcasing innovative and stylish recycled, up cycled and Australian made products, predominantly produced by the Medwin&McGarry team with a view to offering our shop as an avenue for other local artisians to showcase their own ethical products in the future. 

Daylesford is one of Australia's premier Spa and Retreat locations and Is visited by vast numbers of tourists throughout the year.


We hope to create a space where visitors and locals can find original and inspired interiors that makes them feel as though they are taking home a little piece of the country.


$10-30 will include a print postcard “A Feather Member” Red Tailed Black Cockatoo Feather Print & a thank you on our pozible, facebook and other web page as a gesture towards your contribution to our goal!
