About the Project

There's Always Tomorrow is a short film which has been partially funded by the Media Resource Centre (SA) as part of the Raw Nerve Initiative.

Once the film is complete at the end of 2012, we will be entering it into film festivals around Australia and throughout the world.

Why We're Crowdfunding

Even though we have been extremely lucky in receiving partial funding from the Media Resource Centre (SA), we have only been afforded a very low budget. To make this film the best it can possibly be, we require a little more help so we can put the money towards equipment, special effects, entry fees to film festivals and just the little things like food for our crew of volunteers! With an extra $2,000 we can breath a lot easier and really focus on this film's potential instead of the cost cutting.

With your contribution, you are part of our crew helping us to produce a quality Australian short film that will be seen all over the world!

Synopsis

Craig thinks he is doing the right thing when he invites his best mate Mitch on a camping trip. However, Jenny (Craig's girlfriend) feels differently and now Craig is being forced to play mediator in a situation he unwittingly created.

Between his girlfriend and best friend constantly bickering, the outrageously odd couple they encounter, that damn ukelele and mother nature throwing them a curveball, it's going to be one very long trip for Craig.

He probably should have remembered that no good deed goes unpunished.

The Film

Written by Liz Jackson, There's Always Tomorrow is a refreshing take on the black comedy genre which is cleverly crafted to keep you guessing from the opening credits. With razor sharp twists and an intelligent wit, the film is sure to capture audiences around the globe. There's Always Tomorrow highlights key issues that we don't often consider as we got about life...and maybe we should!

Just remember, life can feel an eternity when stuck with the wrong people.
