Action Thriller Short Film titled 'Stalking'
'Stalking' is an action thriller short film set in the gorgeous Sunshine Coast, where two women on a fitness hike stumble into a dangerous military situation unawares. Who will come out alive, and why are they being hunted? A deadly game of cat and mouse in the Australian Jungle.
The military consultant is former SAS Sniper and author Rob Maylor, and he is also playing an onscreen role. (pictured in the project image)
Director Simon Van Der Spoel has been in the TV industry for 10 years, as a News Camera Operator and Editor, and currently as a Commercial Producer/Creative Director for one of Australia's leading broadcast networks. He has a broadcast credit for "Spitfire Guardians" which he wrote, filmed, directed, edited, produced and was broadcast on the History Channel, narrated by the late Charles Bud Tingwell, and was made from his own pocket (in the time before crowdsourcing platforms) available here www.etherealproductions.com.au
plus an estimated 6000 hours of broadcast news and TVC's.
Filmed an action concept trailer for a feature film he wrote which got a great response (and was even seen by Eric Bana) and documented the entire process - www.redeemedfilm.blogspot.com
Script has been completed, in the process of getting storyboards drawn.
The budget of $5000 is broken down as such -
