Whether ‘performing’ be in the bedroom, boardroom or the supermarket checkout queue, nationally acclaimed performer/ choreographer BRIAN LUCAS holds a mirror up to our anxieties revealing reflections which dazzle and provoke.

Returning after a highly successful inaugural World Theatre Festival 10 season, this remount of "Performance Anxiety" draws parallels between the anxieties of a performer and those we experience while ‘performing’ in our day-to-day lives.

Performed in an intimate cabaret setting at Brisbane Powerhouse, you’ll be able to sit back, wine in hand and absorb the tales of the terminally stressed, the people under pressure, and the heroes on their small crusades.

Brian combines dance, movement, physical imagery, voice and sound to create an intriguing and confronting performance.

With a sound design performed live by Brett Collery and lighting design and production support by Andrew Meadows.

This is a remount season of "Performance Anxiety" which is being supported in-kind by Brisbane Powerhouse.  We have all the production, marketing and ticketing costs covered ....what we don't have is some cash to pay Brian, Brett and Andrew for all their rehearsal and performance time.  Might you, could you, please help us pay these fabulous artists as they recreate this wonderful work.  All money raised will be going directly to the artists.
