The Commitment Project Billboard
The Commitment Project shows the many faces of human love.
It is a photo project that documents long term committed gay and lesbian relationships.
The purpose of the project is to use examples of loving couples to help reduce homophobia in Australia.
This project is a collage of the images displayed on a billboard in Town Hall Train Station in Sydney. The billboard has been tentatively booked for September 2011. The billboard will stay on display for one month.
If the billboard and the project is well received it can be moved to different locations in the future.
All the images that have been collected can be seen at www.thecommitmentproject.net .
The cost of the project is for the rental of the space, the production of the billboard "skin" , design of the billboard by a graphic designer and the assembly of the "skin" . The project has been given a $1000.00 discount by the owners of the space, APN Outdoor.
