Red Earth Radio FM needs YOUR HELP to build a studio and stream Seed to the universe!!!

Support your local radio station!! Red Earth Radio (RERfm) is the Paddock’s very own broadcasting service, churning out cheeky chunes and chats with LIVE shows and 24/7 online streaming pre, post and during Burning Seed in 2016. All your ears are belong to us of course but first your help and support is VITAL to help house our DJs, talkshow hosts, sexy weather consultants, performers and special guests in a CUSTOM MADE STUDIO!

RERfm LOVES the 10 Principles. We want to do our CIVIC RESPONSIBILITY and provide Seed participants with the latest Burn reports, interviews and insights into our Paddock culture, Theme Camp event promos, Public Service Announcements, Ranger Info and more. We want to enable IMMEDIACY with live performances and unexpected shenanigans. We could probably do a list of all the Principles but we’re hoping you’ll take our word for it!

We also have a dream to stream Burning Seed to the world, working with our friends at Burning Man Information Radio (BMIR) who can take our live stream and broadcast on their global site.

So where is RERfm at?

RERfm is a civic service - not a Theme Camp. As such Burning Seed is supporting RERfm with funds to secure a legit licence and an adequate transmitter and antenna to ensure we’re doin it right.

From humble origins on a trestle table behind the ice truck in 2014, to a sexy but inadequate container space in 2015, RERfm is set to launch into the stratosphere at Burning Seed 2016: Deep Space but we need a nitro boost in the way of funds to support and secure a kickass studio space.

After running on the fumes of an oily rag for a couple of years, in 2016 we will go legit and get a bonafide ACMA FM licence and some whiz bang hardware in the form of a tranny and a stick (that’d be an FM transmitter and an antenna). Thanks Burning Seed for splashing a little cash to the tune of $1100 to secure the hardware in 2016. This is vital infrastructure that can be used well into the future.

We have our own kit of techy stuff, panels, mixers and mics, and leads for which we’ve begged , borrowed, pilfered and left behind but what we need now is some digs to call home at Matong..... that'd be our all important studio. We need four walls and a roof to set up the studio, store and secure our kit and do our thang. We need something weather-proof and worthy of our incoming talent and special guests. A place where we can proudly perform radio panel porn. We also need a hangout / meet and greet / greeny room space to schmooze and fluff our talented guests - YOU!

We've got big dreams for our little regional burn radio station not just to deliver the goods on the Paddock but also to stream our Seedy shenanigans online but we gotta cover our rears before we come in your ears - that’s where you come in! • Studio hire and delivery for 10 days (25 Sept to 4 October) $1200

• Antenna: materials to house the 10 metre tower $200

• Green room fluffer departure lounge zone space for talent $200

• Streaming costs $900
