Aquaporko! is the story of Melbourne's fat femme synchronized swim team sculling, egg beating and high kicking towards their first ever live performance. We follow fat activist and filmmaker Kelli Jean Drinkwater as she meets the team and uncovers a world of friendship, community and radical body politics. Kelli Jean chats to members of the Aquaporko! team about self-acceptance, embracing body positivity and how they as individuals and as a group challenge society's relentless negativity towards fatness.
Colorful and camp, this heartfelt documentary, is overflowing with humor and humanity. Inspiring people of every size to celebrate our bodies in all their glorious diversity.

Aquaporko! is a completely self funded independant documentary. We are now in the post production phaze of the process but in much need of funds to complete the process and make the film look and sound as good as it deserves to!

We are aiming for $5000 to start with , which will cover the finishing and distrubution process.
For example
$1000 - conform - to make sure the film screens smoothly and is technically perfect !
$1500 - professional color grade - to make the images look as beautiful as they possibly can.
$1500 - online, mastering and deliverables for film festivals - getting the finished film ready to screen around the world!
$1000+ - international distrubutions, appilcation fee's,stock and material for submitting film to festivals - once made we want to get the film out into the world and spread the Body Posivity message far and wide !
