In 2012 I snorkelled for the first time at Redang Island Malaysia.

In 2013 at the same Island I got brave enough to try diving for the first time. It was just an intro dive of about 30 minutes and only down to 6 metres but now I really want to try more.

I have spoken to the local PADI / Diver training school here and the total cost to do the Open Water Diving Certificate is roughly $550 for course and $550 for the gear. Normally this would not be a problem, but I am buying a house at the moment and I simply can not afford it.

I need your help to fund the course (over two weekends including 2 shore dives and 1 boat dives) and related necessary equipment.

Of course there area always risks and obstacles to any project. Some of the simple ones are, I won't reach the funding target, I won't pass the dive medical, I will get sick and can not dive.

But rest assured no matter what happens I will share it with you.. well maybe not actually share my sickness but I will tell you about it.
