Our Debut EP ‘Fox & Fowl’ is ready for release!

Fox & Fowl originated in Canberra in 2011 when a group of friends got together in a dorm room and decided to pursue their love of music. Fast forward to present day and Fox & Fowl have migrated north to the warm embrace of Brisbane. With its feel good summer vibes and mass of music talent there seemed like no better place for the boys to pursue their dream.


Recorded at Airlock studios by Yanto Browning (Art of Sleeping, The Medics and The Jungle Giants), ‘Fox & Fowl’ is a 4 track EP that encapsulates the journey shared by the band while traveling the Americas. Each track is laced with insight into the adventures had by the band and the resulting tracks are an upbeat and uplifting collection of tunes.

Fox & Fowls next venture is the release of the second single ‘Jungle Punch’ in March and then the release of the ‘Fox & Fowl’ EP in April which will be toured across Australia.

This is where we need your help. We have paid for our studio time, producer, mastering and the cost of touring the debut single which, as all musician will tell you, is not cheap. Our goal for this campaign is to make a dent in the sizable sum of money that is required to print, promote, distribute and tour the EP that we have spent the last year making.

Our management team has put together a thorough budget that will aid in the success of our EP's release. The funds attained will go towards paying for:

Printing and packaging of the EP - $750

Touring Expenses - $1000
Cover Artwork - $250
Merchandise - $500

The music industry holds no promises in regards to the success of any band. When independent artists choose to release music without the backing of a major label their is a huge risk involved as their is no guarantee that the 'product' will gain traction. For this reason we have enlisted the help of Recon Music to ensure that our EP is put in front of every major radio station, music magazine and promoter to give it the best chance possible of success.
