Hi there,
We design keepsakes for fun lovers!
Driven by the impulse to capture beauty and share it with others, the Naomi Murrell label has been producing tiny finery big on hope, happiness and simple pleasures since 2009.
Our little studio is based at The Mill in Adelaide, and our ethical supplier is based in Bali, Indonesia. We dream up pop-up shop concepts every summer because we believe everyone needs an oasis of awesome to escape to every now and then.
'What's next?', we've been asked by you lovely people... 'Will you ever design clothing?'
After musing on this for nearly a year, we've decided the answer is YES!
This month we're kindly asking for your help to fund the anticipated launch of our Womenswear Capsule Collection for Spring/Summer 14/15. This new product category will complement our jewellery collection and bring a smile to your style.
Our clothes will be for chasing the sun in, for lazing in hammocks and drinking Pimms in!
The aim is to have the collection ready for release by November 2014 at our Summer 14/14 Pop Up Shop.
Your help means a lot to us, and we will be rewarding everyone who contributes to the development of the collection with some very pretty clothes or design goods!

// Collection Title : Chase The Sun
Chase The Sun captures the essence of summer and is the official title of both our 2014-2015 Clothing and Jewellery Collections. Design of the jewellery collection is complete and in sampling, waiting the official reveal in Spring. Meanwhile we are in full swing with the design phase of the clothing.

It's bright and delightful like the famous music! Colours on stage include: french blue, mist, vanilla, blush, tangerine and banana.

Garments in our Calypso colour palette will be perfect for lazing in hammocks or sipping a Pimms on a summer's night! Soft clean cottons inspired by the vintage workwear of Jamaican banana plantation workers, meet woven stripes inspired by 1960's French film. It's all about bringing a smile to your style.

Rewards Delivery Update:
1) Jewellery, Jewellery Vouchers and Illustrations : Will ship 2-3 weeks after project completion date.
2) Clothing Vouchers : Will be issued 2-3 weeks after the project completion date, and will be redeemable as soon as clothing is available to order from the catalogue (TBC, before November 2014).
3) Clothing Delivery : Summer, November 2014.
Note: As this is an "all or nothing" approach to funding, we need to make our target of $10,000 for the project to be successful. Pledges will only be processed once the project target is met.

The Challenges
We work super hard to design beautiful things, but we're still a small, independent company and there are considerable costs involved in developing a new product category. We will be racing against the clock as we face challenges in sourcing ethical fabric suppliers, production facilities, proto typing new designs and managing a new area of production. Our whole team is very excited about the opportunity to learn as we tackle any problems together.
