Zeahorse are about to embark on their first ever international tour and they need your help! 
With a release date set for their current album Pools in the US and Canada, along with a confirmed 32 date tour across the U.S.A, they’ll need their fans, friends and family to help fuel the dream. But your help won't end there, all contributions will enable the creation of fantastic and original music for years to come.
Having played relentlessly for the last 5 years all over the east coast of Australia, Zeahorse have gained a reputation for being one of the best live bands around. They were nominated for best live act in the 2013 FBi SMAC awards, and have supported many local and international acts such as The Black Angels, Them Crooked Vultures, Jello Biaffra & TGSM, The Mark of Cain and the Hard Ons.
Their debut album Pools was released in 2013 which received much critical acclaim, and has since gone on to secure a North American release through Dine Alone Records in September this year.
On top of that they have been busy preparing to record a follow-up to Pools all the time continuing to play the brutal, raw and emotional shows they are renowned for.
Australia should be proud of a band like Zeahorse; they are an original and electrifying act that deserve to have their music heard all around the world.
Touring overseas is an expensive venture even when done as cheaply and modestly as possible, therefore, your generosity will not just help fund the band but will help real Australian music continue on the path of righteousness.

Hi, we are Zeahorse.
We love what we do! it’s the only reason we get up and go to work in the morning.
We released our debut LP Pools last year here in Australia which was a proud moment for us. This album has since gone on to ruffle some feathers overseas amongst other music heads, and we are pleased to announce that Pools has secured a release in North America through respected record label, Dine Alone.
Now we find ourselves with the exciting yet daunting opportunity of touring the US and Canada to promote our album around its release date.
We have been hard at work, not lounging about like a snail in your veggie patch, and here is what we have so far:

- Release date scheduled for the 2^nd of September through the kind folk at Dine Alone Records.
- Flights booked and paid for out of our own pockets.
- 32 shows booked across the US and Canada.
- Working Visas.

Sounds great but why are you here telling us this?

Long tedious hours in unfortunate day jobs are financing the trip, yep that’s right no bludging to be seen at camp Zeahorse. But as hard as we’ve been working and saving, we could really use some assistance from you guys.

Below are three crucial elements we are currently without:

- A van for us to tour and live in.
- A small backline (amps, kit etc).
- Flights for our manager.
(We have included the budget breakdown below.)

Why do you need a van?

We are going to North America to take our band to the next level. This involves playing our butt's off as much as humanly possible over the two month period. We need a van to carry our gear around from town to town, city to city, bar to bar, Wallmart carpark to Wallmart carpark. The 32 shows we have booked are diverse and span the entire country, and a van is the best and most affordable way for us to rock and roll our way across the country! 

Why do you need a backline?

We are a DIY band and in true DIY fashion we want the ability to play anywhere at any time, be it a booked venue or an impromptu gig somewhere along the road. To do this we need a small and very modest backline. Now don’t go thinking we want your money to buy primo vintage equipment, basic amps, and the bare bones of a drum kit is all we need.

Why do you need to fly a manager over?

We need someone to help us make this trip a worthwhile venture. Whilst we generally let our playing do the talking, we need a professional voice to represent us and prevent us from making any silly decisions. We want to keep on playing killer shows and making next level albums and this is an opportunity for Zeahorse to move ever so slightly in that direction.

We have listed all our expenses below along with our earnings which is a realistic estimate of how much we will be paid for the 32 shows in total.
