Who am I? My name is Cyndi Darnell and I am one of Australia's leading sex therapists and sex educators based in Melbourne, Australia

What do I do? I teach people how to competently and intelligently engage with their sexuality and sexual health in ways that bring them more pleasure, connection and fulfillment not only with themselves, but also in their relationships. My work spans the mental, physical, and emotional components of human sexuality.


What is this project? Online  and downloadable illustrated audio / visual seminars covering the complete anatomy of the pelvis in all genders and how it relates to sex and pleasure. Available for private download or as a live webinar with Cyndi including a Q&A.

For many of us the inner working of our bodies’ pleasure zones are a mystery. We generally only learn about this briefly as ‘reproduction’ and few people, even medical professionals, learn about how the body responds to sexual pleasure. When we understand how these parts of our bodies work, we understand more about how WE work and what we need to have happy healthy sex. Nothing sleazy, just great anatomical information - straight up.

There will be 4 modules in total:
Female Erotic Anatomy
Male Erotic Anatomy
Anal Erotic Anatomy
Female Orgasm & Ejaculation

(These seminars refer to the anatomical constructions broadly referred to as female and male. Within each seminar, caveats will be presented for people with anatomical variations and differing gender identities to acknowledge as wide a range of anatomies as possible within the limitations of the project.)

Why is it important? This is an important project because there is NOTHING ELSE IN THE WORLD LIKE IT. Many people who come to my seminars report how important this information is and wonder why it is not readily available. It should be easily accessible to everyone, but it is not and the issue is funds. This is why your funding help is so SORELY needed.

Whilst governments and pharmaceutical companies don’t value this knowledge, our ability to access information about sex and our bodies becomes limited. We are left with few alternatives or ways of accessing important facts. Many doctors  / medical professionals don’t have this information either. With so little accurate information available, how can we make the best possible decisions regarding our health, happiness and sexual choices?

My live seminars are a fantastic way of sharing this knowledge, but I just can't be everywhere. This is a chance to get the information delivered straight to you to watch on your computer at your convenience or via a live webinar narrated by me with an opportunity for a group Q&A afterwards
 
It’s also your opportunity to help fund a project’s creation so those who may not otherwise get a chance to access to this information, finally get that chance.

Who is it for? Everyone. Everyone who has a pelvis and genitals, and an interest in sex, how it works and how their bodies work (including health and medical professionals whose knowledge of anatomy wasn’t focused on sex and pleasure but only on reproduction.)  Recommended for ages 14%20


When? Upon successful completion of this crowd- funding program, we’ll get cracking straight away. We anticipate the final product will be available by the end of the year.

1- Artist. Lily Mae Martin is one of Australia’s finest anatomical illustrators. Her work is brilliant- have a look for yourself if you don’t believe me. http://lilymaemartin.com. It is my belief that artists should be paid for their work and not compromised by being asked to work for less than they are worth. Lily Mae is hand drawing over 50 detailed anatomical illustrations to bring you the best information possible to help you better understand your body and how it works from a sex and pleasure perspective. #t=50

2- Tech / Audio. I am not very tech savvy. Lucky for you I am a much greater sex nerd than I am tech enthusiast, so I have to get tech folk to help me create the final product and ensure it’s a smooth process to upload and download, and that it looks spiffy and gorgeous, just for you.

3- Me - That comes later. The funds raised from this crowd-funding project will cover art, tech and some basic copyright biz. Once complete,  the products ( videos) will be available for purchase ( just like a movie) and I will then start to earn some revenue from the project too. These seminars  / webinars / modules are a culmination of 20 years of working in sex, sexual health and wellbeing. This Pozible funding means the people involved get paid to create the project before I do. It’s my commitment to this work and my commitment to ethical work practices to ensure everyone working on the project get paid what they are worth. And I get to create a world first educational product I believe in.

4 - If we make a lot more than our target, we will aim to have the audio & visual project translated into languages other than English to increase accessibility to a global audience.

The primary challenge (of course) would be if we do not reach our financial target, we get NOTHING from this fundraiser campaign. This means the project will not go ahead.
Paying artists and collaborators their full worth is essential to the project's existence, and means the love gets shared around.
