It’s been over two years since I released my debut album, Lone Wolf. Last time I went AWOL from family and friends to record the album in Orange County, USA as I was scared to share my music.

This time, the secret was already out, so I kept it local in my hometown of Brisbane, Australia. In March this year I took my band to Airlock Studios in the nub of Samford Valley where we were cladded by lush greens, country air and lunch-preying kookaburras.

My supercalifragilisticexpialidocious band comprised of Joe Fallon on electric guitar, Jack Killalea on the super bass and Luke Sampson on drums. The studio was filled with an impressive collection of keys like grand pianos, Whirlys and organs so naturally, they creeped their way into the tracks and Yanto Browning was there to set up and record it all.

I then hit a road bump. I got wrapped up between the final semester of my degree and discovering myself. Like most creatives having to deal with the never ending war in their minds, I lost my mojo. What I thought would be a super organised year of exciting plans, turned into double guessing this album and myself as a musician.

So I took those songs that had been sitting around and brought it to Graham Ritchie. To get my mind off things, we made a remix of one of the songs, Uncut Diamonds II, which was actually a remix of Uncut Diamonds from Lone Wolf and called it Uncut Diamonds III. Lol. Then I got excited.

I saw the gaps in some of my songs and decided to put in more effort to let them thrive in a better place and now, all the recordings are complete. But it is already August.

There’s a lot more work to be done to get this new album out before the year ends, and to get back on track with my first plan back in March. To release it in November I’ve still got to do mixing, mastering, CD artwork, printing copies, making a music video, promotion campaign, touring etc.

This is where you come in.

I am inviting you to release it with me. We are all aware that the music industry has seen a disruption which has allowed for artists to pave their own paths, but without a record label and without a team - it is an arduous process.

As you know, I am 100% independent, self-funded and managed but I know I am not alone. I have been blessed with a wonderful support network online and offline which has determined my success to share my stories and create music. So pick out a little treat for yourself, perhaps some ear candy, and help me spread the word.

If you want something that you can’t find, let me know and we will come up with something specially bundled for you!

From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
