Hi there! I'm Simon Hudson, a singer-songwriter from Melbourne, Australia - welcome to #albumSHB!

I've got some great songs that are just begging to be brought into the world. I'm planning to record ten of them in Jan 2015.

To make the album, I need to record, mix, master, and press - so I can bring you the very best of my new music. If you'd like to help out, it'd be great to have you onboard!

Simon Hudson Band ranges from an acoustic show with me and my cellist partner Anita, up to a six-piece band. We started playing shows across Melbourne in 2012, and most recently in July toured across Germany and the Netherlands. We've also released our debut EP Time and Space.

My music weaves a captivating blend of folk, Latin and roots music with influences including The Cat Empire, Jose Gonzalez, Neil Finn, and Paul Simon. Band members include:

1) Running over budget in the tracking or mixing stages of the project

Plan
We'll keep a strict eye on how much time we can spend on each song. If the song goes over, we'll have to move on to the next one, and finish it later. We can also complete them during mixing. This is where we finished our latest single Do Me A Favour, and it's a great option for putting down extra vocals, guitars and percussion.

2) Some of our project people might become unavailable (have a baby, break their finger, move to Brazil). This includes musos, engineers, mixers, mastering engineers, photographers, designers and replication companies.

There are heaps of options to get backup. There's other studios we can use, backup engineers, other musos who can help us out, a different replication company, and other designers who are more than up to the job!
