On December the 1st, Bluebonnet Barbecue (a new small local business) had their Johnson St premises broken into and completely trashed. The plate glass shop window was shattered, plates were smashed, bottles, glasses, kitchen equipment sprayed with glass shards, a $3000 reclaimed wood table on loan was irreparably damaged. Hundreds of dollars of meat was lost because they couldnt trade.
Though the business has insurance, it likely wont cover all the damage or be settled quickly enough to allow them to get back to trading. It's things like this that can easily put a small business under, so let's help them stay afloat!
Let's help this hard working crew overcome this awful incident! $2500 doesn't begin to cover the damage (as you can see from the pic the whole place is destroyed), but certainly every bit helps!

Every dollar will be spent repairing the damage from this senseless crime, and any additional funds will be put towards expanding the restaurant and improving the facilities.
This includes
- replacing the glass window
-ordering stock
-replacing bar stock
-replacing glassware
-repairing furniture
- industrial cleaning
