For one night only, Handle It returns to Sydney for an evening of entertainment and thought as a fundraiser for the UN Women.

Being a busy time of year, lots of our wonderful supporters can't make it on the 11th. This campaign is a chance for those people, and also those who don't live in Sydney, to support from afar.

We would appreciate any support you can offer, whether attending the event, supporting this campaign, or promoting this event through network and social media, we appreciate every effort made and every dollar for this wonderful cause.

Two fabulous guest speakers Tracey Spicer & Augusta Supple will kick off the night, followed by a performance of Handle It - A One Woman Play by Laura Jackson - Actor & Feminist Playwright, and finally drinks and musical entertainment by Aspiring Musical Theatre Company.

“Handle It – A One Woman Play”, written and performed by Laura will be presented as a fundraiser for UN Women and tells the story of a young woman at university, whose life is turned upside down when compromising pictures of her are posted on Facebook without her permission. The play explores the Generation Y experience of intimacy in a world where the internet shapes relationships, pornography is everywhere and young women do their best to cope.

Funds raised from this event will go to support UN Women’s Beijing20 Campaign and efforts, projects and advances in policy - Funds will be donated to:
- Protect women and girls from violence
- Provide safe and stable jobs
- Develop women as leaders
- Ensure women’s participation in peace processes
- Advance gender equality
