TeamSpeak 3 Integration for XenForo

The idea for this add-on came about after setting up a TeamSpeak 3 server for staff and community members on a forum I do work for. It became increasingly frustrating having to manually organise users in to their respective server groups so the search began for an add-on to automate the process.

We found an add-on but it didn't really cover what we needed and wasn't supported. After expressing my interest in developing an alternative, several community members stepped forward and were eager for more information.

So here we are, attempting a crowd-fund (my first, actually) to fund development for the add-on. I have already started work on the add-on and I am making some encouraging progress.

How The Funds Will Be Used

The plan for this add-on is to create a bridge between XenForo and a TeamSpeak 3 server. Reaching the funding goal will cover the cost of some initial features:

- Sever viewer as you see above.
- Viewing and manipulation of server / channel groups.
- Syncing of user groups on XenForo with their server group counterparts.
- Server status widgets for XenPorta 2 and the Widget Framework.

The Challenges

Development of good quality software will take some time. As I have stated before, I'm not going to give ETAs, especially this early in development, since I don't want to tie myself down to a specific date. I have a fair bit of code rewritten though so it's coming along nicely, as you may be able to tell from the screenshot above. It is likely the add-on will be a paid product to ensure I can support it later down the line.
