We first listened to a recording of Trailer Music in 2013. We had goosebumps. It was an exhilarating journey cleverly packed into a 12 minute work for piano, violin and cello. Thomas' creative juices went into overdrive - 'LET'S CREATE A MOVIE'. We entertained that idea for a day. And left it. Fast forward two years, one too many brainstorm sessions and 'let's get shit done' moments later and we are going for it!

The idea is simple: What happens when you create a film based on music, instead of the other way around?

WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS PROJECT?
We want to draw attention to the ridiculous power of music, that, precisely BECAUSE it can lend itself so well to the screen, that it is often overlooked itself.

WHAT MAKES THIS PROJECT UNIQUE?
Part classical music, part film. This project WILL bring you on the ride with us throughout the creative process.

HOW WILL YOU DELIVER THIS PROJECT WITHIN ON TIME?
Already in our initial stages we have had very positive feedback and support from key individuals in our network. The composer Nicholas Buc has given us his enthusiastic blessing. We have a great project team supporting and driving this vision. It is indeed an ambitious project, but no doubt one that we are confident has great potential to create quality work for an immersive experience, and will be made possible with your support.

Tickets are transferable. We will notify you of the date in June and if you are unable to make it, pass it on to your friends / family and spread the love!

We have kicked things off, self-funding a professional recording session ($2000) to provide the filmmakers with the music to create with. From here, we need your help with:




Production support and Director (equipment, lighting, and more so we get an amazing quality film at the end of it) - $4500
Venue hire and concert (so we have a roof over your heads) - $3000
10 hours of tutes with top Australian musicians (constructive feedback is always good) - $1000
Marketing and publicity (website design, graphic design and printing) - $3000
Artist fees (musicians need to eat sometimes..) - $3000
Project/Administrative support (project manager needs to eat, too!) - $3500

Total - $18 000

Our Pozible goal is $10 000, which will go directly into the top 3 things above. In the event that we are faced with over-enthusiastic support from you all, the funds will go into the other areas listed. We are currently waiting on the results of a grant application, but as with these things, this is unconfirmed until decisions are released in late May. We will be reviewing and updating our budget as we progress - we want to make sure every single cent is well-spent!
