In life people are taught that with every action and decision that they take they must suffer the consequences for those actions, Jonah a young Perth entrepreneur does not believe in such ideas. However on the eve of the most important job interview of his life, Jonah wakes up to find himself in a room with a women smoking and a ticking bomb between them. Soon Jonah begins to recognize that every action has a consequence even in the form of three wires.

“Three Wires” is a short film made in connection with Curtin University, Western Australia, consisting of Third year Screen Arts students and Curtin Alumni with an all female film crew. ‘Three Wires’ is a film that explores actions without consequence as well as the effects of ignorance to others.



Our trailer which is seen above is a mere example of what our film will become, with hopes of making a film which Western Australia and women who aspire to or work in the film industry can be proud of. Production will commence Mid Year with hopes of festival submissions in 2016; we as a film crew hope to create the best short film we can and showcase what we have learnt in our experiences in class and out of class within the Australian film industry.

Being a small film with students, we are lacking in production funding all of our funds will be raised in this campaign will go towards:
-Location expenses
-Production design
-Costuming
-Catering and other production expenses
Anything that we raise over our target will go towards film festival submissions locally and internationally.

As this is a student and independent film our main challenge finding locations that suit to Jonah’s expensive taste, we already have locations in mind but require the financial backing. We are also in need of finding a street, which we can take over for a few short scenes with a mixture of clever camera shots and the will of our producer we are determined to pull it off.


As we are not Terrorists nor do we wish to be placed under Australia’s Federal Police radar we have the dubious task of recreating a lifelike time bomb (but without the real explosives). Through our strength and confidence in production design and Special Effects we aim to put your money into a real movie bomb that looks real and is a real bang on screen but not in real life.
