Hi,
My name is Riley Pearce, I’m a 22yr old alternative folk musician from Perth, Australia.

I am in love with music and how just one song can have such an enormous impact on our lives. All those songs that help to remember a specific moment, the sights, the smells, the people you were with at the time.

Last year I left Perth to go live in Montana for six months. There are few words to describe how amazing the experience was. I made life long friends, travelled around the US and learnt so much about myself as a person and as a musician. I’ve written new songs inspired by my trip and now I want to share them with you.

The new EP, titled Outside The Lines, is a collection of all these fantastic thoughts and moments from my trip. My songwriting is really personal but I’m sure that other people will relate to the themes of missing home, taking on life at your own pace and the fleeting relationships that come from travel.

I’ve taken my time with this release, wanting to ensure that it’s of a true representation of who I am as a songwriter and at a quality that you would all be proud of.

I put my absolute everything into my music and unfortunately, in the early stages, that’s not always enough. Money is also a big part of this journey and as I look to establish myself in the scene, I need help funding it all. With help from some amazing friends, families and strangers who believe in me and what I do, I hope we can all make this project reach its goal.

At the moment the songs have been recorded and are currently getting mixed with whizbang engineer Andy Lawson (Eskimo Joe, Rainy Day Women). So the funds will go towards the costs of….

Any extra funds raised beyond the $5000 target will go towards the promotion and publicity campaigns for the EP. This helps to get it into as many ears and hands of people across the world.

Being a musician in the most isolated city on Earth makes touring and promotion hard. Easily reaching and being able to tour the audiences in the cultural hubs of Melbourne and Sydney take a lot more effort and money. With this EP i want to help build an Australia-wide audience online so that demand grows for future tours.
