WE'RE DOING IT AGAIN!

Brisbane Arts Theatre is Brisbane’s home of the performing arts, with a long history of staging adaptions of Sir Terry Pratchett's cult Discworld novels - an alternative reality where the world is flat, resting on the shoulders of four cosmic sized elephants standing on the back of an impossibly large turtle swimming through space.

We had so much fun last year, we're back for HOGSWATCH IN JULY 2015!

Funds are needed to kickstart this event, and we want YOU to be a part it!

We're holding a festive village fair with stalls, games, competitions, children's activities, sausage sizzle, Morris dancers AND a visit from the Hogfather himself!

The funds will go towards the start up costs for the event including a small petting zoo, equipment hire, printing and the usual associated costs.

The event is being held under the auspices of the Brisbane Arts Theatre and will be a free public event. The more money we raise the bigger and better we can make it!

Last year's $1000 paid for:
* The baby animal farm hire
* The hire of PA equipment & haybales
* Equipment, trophies & prizes for the Games and Maskerade competition
* The purchase of craft supplies for the kiddies' tent
* Event signage, volunteer sashes and badges

This year's funds are expected to cover the same/similar expenses.

We estimate about 300 people came and enjoyed the free festivities - die-hard Pratchett fans and Newbies alike!

We'd love more people to come aboard to help plan and organise the day & of course, more people to come along on the day to share in the fun!

We're starting our planning earlier this year and spreading the word earlier and further afield with the use of social media, word of mouth and general networking.
