As many of you know Martin (now Amin since his conversion to Islam) has been in prison since 1993. He has spent most of his adult life behind bars often in very difficult conditions. 

Martin admits his involvement drug trafficking in 1993 was naive and wrong. Martin has made some bad choices in his life, he knows that and deeply regrets them. 

Martin is a new man with a calmness in his heart and a passion for making a positive contribution to the world sometimes in small ways but (for those of you who know him you will know that) sometimes in larger ways with his dreams of clean energy and sustainable living and numerous other plans. 

Martin is a remarkable man and we are asking for him to have the chance to redeem himself.

Martin has been granted a transfer from the US, where he is currently incarcerated, back to Australia by the NSW Prison Services. The transfer cost to be borne by Martin's family is A$19,287. Clearly this is a lot of money and neither Martin nor his immediate family have the funds. 

Martin asked that this crowd funding site be set up in order to appeal to his friends and supporters. He knows this is a large sum but hopes you may find it in your heart to make a pledge no matter how small.
