SAGE has been invited to perform at the Festival of Australian Student Theatre in Brisbane and La Boite. The festival from the 30th of May until the 1st of June is the first time South Australia will be represented in the program.

'Grace stands on a cliff-top, desperate, alone and confused. Enter Charlie: the enigmatic stranger who strikes up a conversation about the weather…and won’t leave. As a storm brews in the distance, we learn not everything is what it seems as these two brilliant, yet broken minds come together.

Waiting for Godot meets Fight Club, Sage questions the idea of normal through comedy, blatant awkwardness and tension.

A refreshing look at dealing with mental illness in young people, the one-act dialogue between two character’s jumps between reality and…the other. Poetry, film, and pop culture references all help pose a questions of our relevance in this world and what it means to be alive and fit into society.'

After a successful season in the Adelaide Fringe and winning the 2012 State Theatre Company and Flinders University Young Playwrights Award, SAGE has been given this great opportunity to travel interstate. The one-act play stars Mel Martins and Nic Cutts and is written/directed by Chloé Eckert.

Please support local work going interstate.

Our absolute love and thanks to you. Nic may even sing to you.
