Wow! We did not expect such a massive reaction in such a short amount of time. We're incredibly close to our target, and we are totally humbled by your generosity to date. However, it's not all over if we hit the target. Please think of it as another starting point.
Anything we raise over $800 will go towards auxiliary costs in the video - props, hair/makeup, catering, gaffa tape, you name it. These things don't appear out of thin air.
Any extra funds we raise above $1000 will be going directly in to distribution costs for the video and the single. Although we are in a digital age, radio stations and television shows still require physical copies of content, which is about to cost us hundreds of dollars in duplication costs.
You are all wonderful, wonderful people, and we have the warmest of fuzzies from this whole experience. Please continue reading below for the initial goals.

We've cut as many costs as possible and a lot of the people involved are doing this out of love rather than money, including our director, D.O.P, and multiple assistants. In fact, the only crew cost we are incurring is that of our editor, Luke Constable, who has agreed to a reduced flat rate for the project. The $800 we are raising will pay Luke's fee. Any additional funds we raise above the $800 will purchase props, pay for the Digibeta conversion (so we can be shown on Rage), and feed our beloved malnourished cast and crew on our two days of filming, July 1st and 2nd.
Our good friend and guest artist Jen Boyce will be appearing the video (along with her cat Rapunzel). We are in the process of finalising our storyboards and shot list in collaboration with our director Jarrad Rooke and D.O.P. Alex Kirchner. Alex's most recently shot and compiled the viral video of Pigeon's Daft Punk Medley live studio performance.
You can see our attempt at a self-produced and edited video for our clip for Little White Lies. While we're incredibly proud of our effort, iPhones and black and white filters only get you so far.
We look forward to showing you the final product in the not too distant future.
