ABOUT THE PROJECT
"Morgue" is a short film by final year Murdoch University film students. The film is a black comedy exploring the realms and meaning of life and death.

We are all passionate about this project and have a good cast and crew locked, all we need is some support from you to achieve our goal.

SYNOPSIS
Late for work, Steve speeds down a suburban street. Frustrated he switches through radio stations only to further infuriate him, until he gets a pain in his chest. Having a heart attack Steve dies. Steve awakes to find himself in a morgue alongside another corpse - an outspoken and obnoxious Old Man. Here the two banter about life, death and everything in between.

APPROACH
"Morgue" will be approached light heartedly but dealt with a heavy hand.

The banter between the two characters has a comedic shading, enveloping the odd couple dynamic. On the other "Morgue" is a story about a man struggling with the regrets and loss of his own life, something that each and every person is eventuated to.

WHY WE NEED YOUR MONEY
We need your money out of necessity rather than comfort, filmmaking is an expensive process. Though the end product may seem natural, an enormous amount of work is needed to reach that point.

We are shooting "Morgue" throughout September and October. Our major concern is managing to acquire all the production design elements required to give an authentic and enticing look to the film. Our shooting locations, cast and crew are confirmed so we are confident we can make this film, we just need some help from you to give it the final kick to its target.
