Through our campaign we hope to raise funds to produce the pilot of a 22 minute miniseries entitled MinMin.

Our Project:
MinMin is a six part tiered thriller webseries/series about the families of a
missing group of children. In it they must try to rally the racially unjust small town’s residence to
help find their children or else lose them forever.

They confront a racist police force and learn that there is help outside of the justice system. At first the audience wants to know where the children are and when this is answered they wonder will they ever see their parents again. Through special effects and lighting MinMin paints a vivid world around the strengths and frailties of family bonds and takes the audience on a journey from parental dismay and social insignificance to a town united in the search of the missing children.

MinMin is important to us because we believe that the story is one that needs to be told it really showcases a different side of Australian life while wrapping it in a thrilling series, one that has not been shown in the mainstream media as well as showing how the strength of family is something stronger than anything no matter your cultural background.

An obstacle for the success of this project would be not reaching the funds and not having the ability to hire the appropriate equipment, we really feel that it is necessary for MinMin to be a worthy television program and will really help in getting the remaining episodes commissioned.
