Every veteran carries a story.

Some are shared.
Many are not.

Fragments of Service: The Stories Within is a participatory art project bringing veterans together through small ceramic workshops—creating space for connection, reflection, and storytelling.

Each participant creates a small clay vessel.
Individually, they are personal.
Together, they form a powerful collective artwork—a contemporary counter-monument shaped by lived experience.

This work will culminate in a public exhibition, honouring the voices and experiences of those who have served.

Why This Matters

For many veterans, the transition from military to civilian life can be isolating.

This project offers:

• A creative outlet for expression and reflection
• A way to share stories that are often left unspoken
