I know that Graham is overwhelmed with gratitude for the generosity of his friends and family. We are now HOURS from the end of the campaign and the money raised has been fantastic. The Bent Thumb Thinking Story

At a time when he had never read a Blog, Graham was convinced by a friend to write one. As he puts it: “In my wildest dreams I could not have imagined what was about to transpire as I began publishing ‘Bent Thumb Thinking - Stories of My Life’.” 

The blog is a series of anecdotes about real adventures and events that have taken place along the way in his road trip through life. Graham Crossan has been a writer by profession for decades, and is now the author of ‘Bent Thumb Thinking’. He also, by the way, is the owner of a bent thumb, which he says has taught him a few lessons along the way.

“That the stories would be viewed and enjoyed around the globe still amazes me. Two years on, and with 10,000+ views by readers in Australia, Asia, Europe, North and South America and my birthplace, Africa, I am truly humbled and deeply appreciative of the reaction and support of readers.”

In time this blog of 50+ stories will disappear, so Graham and those around him have decided to publish a book. This will remain as a legacy of love for his beautiful family, amazing friends and loyal readers. There are also, believe it or not, still many people who prefer real books to stories on digital devices.

‘Bent Thumb Thinking – The Book’

‘Bent Thumb Thinking’ is a collection of stories from the Blog that explore the author’s road trip through life. It has been a long journey, with many bumps and potholes along the way, as well as several detours that have made for a rich life, as well as interesting reading. There are still obstacles ahead as the author navigates his most challenging course yet – travelling the path of living with Motor Neurone Disease, a trip started some eight years ago.

The Book will be published by Busybird Publishing and is due to be launched early December in time for Christmas 2017. The book will be available through online book retailers.
