My plans for album 4 and upcoming tours:
I have just finished recording my 4th album and I need your help to fund it, so I can release it this September! I will be releasing the album digitally and on CD as usual, with the plan being to release the album on vinyl (which is an exciting career first for me). So far I have released three singles from the album, including 'Friday Nights', 'West Coast' and 'I'm Coming Back'. I will be releasing the fourth single and album title track 'Moment in the Sun' this July.
Once the album has been released in September, I will be launching it with an Australian tour from September 2024 into early 2025. I will be doing my best to get to most states in Australia on this tour! If all goes to plan, I will also be touring Europe in 2025 with shows in Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium. I look forward to seeing you on the road at an album launch show!

This will be my most diverse and genre-bending album to date. I am excited for you all to go on a journey through my best songs so far, with upbeat blues-rock songs, reflective alt-country songs and catchy pop-rock songs all having a moment to shine on this album. The album will be appropriately titled 'Moment in the Sun', which encapsulates my feelings having survived the COVID era and now finding my place as a solo artist.
The album recording process started in January 2023 at Rabbit Hole Recording Studio on the NSW Central Coast at Kasey Chambers' house. Kasey's brother Nash Chambers is the producer on this album and was holed up in the studio with myself, Adrian 'Red' Herbert (drums and percussion) and Matt Crawford (bass) for 5 days. I recorded this part of the album whilst being sick with COVID (straight off the back of performing for 4 straight days at the 2023 Tamworth Country Music Festival), so it was no easy feat.
Throughout the course of 2023, I chipped away at the album with co-producer Syd Green at Jervis Bay Recording Studio on the NSW South Coast. With Syd's guidance, I recorded all my vocal parts and recorded the vast majority of my guitar parts. I was fortunate to have Adrian Herbert record percussion, Nicole Brophy and Mel Jackson record backing vocals, and Dan Sullivan record harmonica, whilst Nash sourced a number of amazing players in Nashville (USA) to add the finishing touches to the album.
In 2024 I have added the finishing touches to the album and am now in the process of having it mixed and mastered. It has been a very long process but I have left no stone unturned with this album. I can't wait for you to hear the fruits of my labour!

Zoom Guitar Lesson
By clicking this option, you will receive a 1 hour private guitar lesson via Zoom (on a date that we mutually agree on). I am a fully qualified high school music teacher with over 8 years of teaching experience in NSW public schools. I have also taught private guitar lessons in the past with both children and adults, so I have a wealth of experience across all age groups. I can teach acoustic guitar, electric guitar and/or lap steel (slide guitar). If you would like more than one lesson, you can select up to a maximum of 5 lessons per person. I anticipate that I will be able to teach this guitar lesson before December 2024 (depending on how many people select this package).

Private Concert (Newcastle, Central Coast, Sydney, Blue Mountains, Southern Highlands, Southern Tablelands, Canberra, Monaro or South Coast NSW Only)
By clicking this option, you will receive one private concert at your house! For this concert I will perform 3 x 45 minute sets solo acoustic within a 3 hour timeframe. You must have adequate protection for me and my equipment from the elements (for example an undercover area if it rains or shade if it is hot) and access to a reliable power source. As I am based in Wollongong, this show must be within the following regions: South Coast NSW (Illawarra, Shoalhaven, Eurobodalla, Bega Valley) Sydney NSW Blue Mountains NSW Central Coast NSW Newcastle NSW Southern Highlands NSW Southern Tablelands NSW Monaro NSW Canberra ACT You must also be willing to provide food, drinks and accomodation for me for the night. I will provide and operate my own PA system and lights. You must be flexible with dates, as the show will need to tie in with my existing tour and work commitments. I am hopeful that this concert can take place by April 2025 at the latest (depending on how many people select this prize package). You will also receive two signed copies of my brand new album 'Moment in the Sun' on CD as part of this package on the night of the private concert. IMPORTANT: Please ensure that you live in an area where there will be no noise complaints! We don't want the fun police to turn up and spoil the show. If the show gets shut down due to noise complaints, I will be unable to offer a refund. Music Business Workshop via Zoom
By clicking this option, you will receive 1 x one hour music business workshop with me via Zoom (or phone call). This package is perfect for a solo musician or band who are starting out in the industry and would like expert advice on how to pursue a career in the music industry. I can give advice on how to book individual gigs, how to book tours (both in Australia and overseas), how to apply for festivals, how to create a successful social media prescence, how to market yourself, recording advice, budgeting, grant writing, songwriting advice, networking advice, advice on entering competitions and much more. If you would like a longer session, you can select up to 5 x 1 hour sessions per person. I anticipate that I will be able to complete the music business workshop by December 2024 (depending on how many people select this package). More Information on My Music Business Experience: I have been self-booking myself as a solo artist and member of The Swamp Stompers for over 11 years and have played at some of the biggest events in Australia. I have released four solo albums (including my new album 'Moment in the Sun' and 1 album + 4 EP's with The Swamp Stompers). I have also self-managed myself for most of my career and have networked with some of the biggest names in the Australian music industry. I have a high success rate for grant applications, including funding for numerous albums from Create NSW. I was recently announced as the Australian Country Music People's Choice Award winner for 'Most Popular Musician or Instrumentalist'.
