Cygnet Folk Festival
Cygnet Folk Festival 2026 is all set to go off this January! We just have one problem to sort out, and we need your help!
Lack of reliable local Telstra mobile phone reception during the festival has been a major issue in our township for some years. Our voluntary committee has been working hard on a solution and have managed to secure a Cells on Wheels (CoW) from Telstra which will provide a much needed boost to the existing mobile phone reception for our township during the 2026 festival.
The quote for the CoW was $25,000, as a not-for-profit community event this is not something we can afford.
Fortunately Telstra have chipped in half of the cost ($12,500) while the Premier's Discretionary Fund has covered a further $6,000.
With days to go until Telstra's invoice must be paid, securing the CoW for the 2026 festival, we are seeking your help to raise the remaining $6,500 required.
Your help and support for the festival is most appreciated.
Thank you from the Cygnet Folk Festival Committee
