UPDATE: ALL PROCEEDS WILL BE DONATED TO RURAL FIRE SERVICE

Amidst the tragic devastation of the Australian Bushfire Crisis, I will be donating 100% of all monies raised in this crowdfund directly to the account setup by the Rural Fire Service to the families of volunteer firefighters who have lost their lives fighting fires.

Hi, I'm Papa Fire. I'm an artist from Sydney, Australia.

I write songs, perform and organise shows, and I've played streets and stages across 5 continents.

Over the last 18 months I've made a record called Burnt Perfect. I wrote, produced and recorded it entirely myself with help from Oded Prior on drums.

I've pressed 150 orange vinyl records, and handmade 150 unique record covers recycled from my personal collection. 

This isn't a crowdfund to ask for help to make a record. The record's pressed. The collaborative companion lyric and cookbook with Mama Smoke aka Annie Smoker has been printed in colour. The recycled vinyl coasters, and the gift baskets with goodies are all very real.

This crowdfund was originally intended to cover the costs of pressing these records before making the record available on the internet, but in the wake of the unfolding fire crisis the financial costs of pressing records is the least of my concerns.  As stated above, once I've reached the target I will donate 100% of all monies raised in this fundrasier to the Rural Fire Service.

Your support will make a real difference to the families of firies who have given everything to keep others safe, so if recieving a gift of the music I've made can encourage donations, then

I'm passionate about vinyl and I've put in a lot of manual labour making artwork by hand to save costs to make these records as affordable as possible, so even if you're not a vinyl collector I hope you might consider starting a collection with an affordable record from a local purveyor of tunes.
