Hello, We Are Wallflower.

We are an independent Canberra band formed late in July 2013. Since our debut we have garnered a wealth of traction on the back of our live show, having supported the likes of Eskimo Joe, Owl Eyes and Safia to name a few. However, we now find ourselves at a moment in our career in which we need to get our name outside of our hometown and to do that we need to get our live sound captured. 

We've had some success with our previous singles, but we feel now more than ever we need to step up our game and lay down a track of unarguable, professional quality. To do this we will be heading to the iconic Studio 301 with the remarkable Simon Todkill. Simon's previous work includes the likes of Matt Corby, Kanye West and The Griswolds; we know he won't let us down.

In return you will have our everlasting appreciation and love; alongside a ticket to our Secret Garden Show to launch the single; your only way in will be through this campaign. 

The total cost of the recording and mix with Simon Todkill will be $2330. We are halfway to the recording goal through a solid year of playing every show offered to us but with our time in the spotlight so brief we ask our fans and supporters to get us the rest of the way across the line. 

The $1270 will split the recording cost and transport straight down the middle between us and our fans and make this project an achievable piece of work. 

Your funding will also go towards making us do ridiculous things. If we reach our goal, Henry has pledged to run naked through Garema Place, film it and bang it up online. We'll let you pick the challenges for each other band member, highest donor names the game! 

As with all collaborative creative work there is an expectation for us to deliver a single of the quality expected of us; we have been living in our band room, making this single watertight and we are confident that under the guide of Simon Todkill at 301, the single will be of a quality you have yet to see from the band.

We've got a solid management team behind us, are better friends then we are a band and are certain there is no challenge we won't be able to overcome.
