Hi Everyone!

I'm Demi and I am an artist and illustrator from the Gold Coast, Australia and I'm launching my 2022 Campaign. Last year was a great success sucuring my Tea Towels as part of Kamelion Studios product line up. I worked together with an Australian textile company during one of the toughest lockdowns during COVID. They were so thankful for the business to keep them going.

This year I have worked with the manufacturing team to bring you something just in time for summer. 

Introducing Eco Towels. These are super soft and made from recycled fabrics and recycled PET bottles to reduce landfill and protect our oceans. Printed with sustainable water based inks showcasing some of my favourite designs. My Eco Towels will leave you feeling warm and dry.

I have created 3 fun summer designs to choose from. You can pre purchase yours now for massive savings. I have created lots of fun packs to bundle with tea towels, cards and wrapping paper. So whether you are a birdy lover, or a little Cray Cray, your gift giving is sorted.

Now for the budget....

The biggest cost naturally is printing. My Tea Towels are digitally printed on all new RPET yarn which is a mixture of recycled fabric offcuts and plastic PET bottles otherwise bound for landfill. These are then seamed and the Made in Australia Tag is added. In order to support Australian, the cost per item is a little high but the quality is well worth it. This does mean a small print run to start with.

Production Cost for Eco Towels:

In order to produce 3 designs in the minimum quantity, I need a 30% deposit.

I am aiming to reach $2,930 in Pre-Orders to cover the deposit to start production. 

If my goal is reached (YAY!), my strecth goal would be $5000 to cover the full production cost AND to produce new wrapping paper designs to match! 

This gives me the inventory I need to sell like mad over the summer to send a certain someone to Hawaii!

Timeline :

1st September - 30th September : Campaign to reach 30% deposit goal. As soon as the deposit amount is reached the manufacturing order will be sent.

1st October - 31st October : Towels will be in production. If my stretch goal is reached, wrapping paper designs will be sent off for printing. I use a local Gold Coast printer and wrap is uncoated and printed on recycled paper.

1st November - 4th : Packing will commence and first orders to be shipped!

Shipping:

Shipping times will vary depending on where you are. Regional packages will take longer so please take this into consideration. I am based on the Gold Coast, Australia so as an example a package heading to regional WA could take up to 15 business days. All packages will be sent with tracking and you will be notified. 

Overseas packages cannot be guaranteed. I have noticed that mail to the USA is back to normal (approx 3 weeks) however packages to Europe may still be interrupted. Please keep this in mind when purchasing.
