Fractures

Hear ye, Hear ye.
Fractures here, formerly known as Mark Zito.

I'm heading to the lovely USA and sweet Lady Europe/UK in a month or so to show my wares to anyone who will listen.



With my live band behind me - or in front of me depending on where I'm standing - I'll be playing shows at Culture Collide in LA, CMJ in New York City and dropping into London and Amsterdam to give them a taste of the Fractures pudding. Hopefully they enjoy my delicious treats.

This stuff costs money, however.
I've done my best thus far to cover costs of my four band members, however, it has become apparent that they will require sustenance as well as a place to rest their head and my offer of bread and water under the stars has been firmly rejected.

I've been lucky enough to be given the opportunity to showcase internationally and it is not an offer I'm willing to pass up. I'm hopeful that your generosity will allow me to do just that and am already so grateful for any time you've invested in my music. Think of this fundraising effort as another investment…in the FUTURE OF MUSIC.

To entice you, I've organised a selection of one-off items that will be unique to this campaign. Any items unsold will be incinerated in a mighty fire to ensure they are the last of their kind.

For my part, I will continue to do what I do to the best of my ability and make music that I enjoy in the hope that you will do the same.

Upon my return, I'll doing a small run of shows on my 'Hallowed Ground Tour' to thank you all for your support and rejoice my return. Tickets are available just to your right>>>

I'm footing the bill for most of the trip and when adding up the costs of flights, accommodation, ground transport, production, promotion and incidentals the expenses start to escalate very quickly. Here is a breakdown of what it is costing us to do this trip:

FLIGHTS AND EXCESS BAGGAGE: $17,000
GROUND TRANSPORT: $2,350
ACCOMMODATION: $7,000
INSURANCE: $3,400
PER DIEMS AND INCIDENTALS: $2,500
PR AND RADIO CAMPAIGN: $4,000
BACKLINE HIRE AND PRODUCTION: $1,500

TOTAL COSTS: $37,750

This also doesn't include payment to the legends that are coming on tour and playing with Fractures who are taking time away from their jobs and lives to come on the road.

We've also been fortunate enough to receive funding from Australia Council towards this trip, of $10,000 which we're very appreciative of, but as you can see it only covers roughly a quarter of the costs so every cent counts.

Every dollar you pledge over the $5k target will go towards covering our Pozible fees and taxes, and will take some of the pressure off the tour credit card.
