With exceptional gratitude to my 71 supporters in 2013, my last project 'Fly 'The Vendetta' to Hair Expo - a hairy tale!', was 100% successfully funded, and my target amount of $3,000 was smashed, making a total of $3,260.
The image below shows that my target was met with 11 days remaining. What an AMAZING feat!
In 2013, I had my mind blown by Hair Expo Australia!
Not only did I get to travel to Sydney, I also participated in an up-styling workshop provided by the prestigious Pivot Point Education team.
I attended the Next Gen Gala - sponsored by Redken and L'Oreal.
I saw the Sharon Blain mentoring 'GenNext Project' showcase their work, I met other amazing creatives, I added this 3 day experience to my ever-growing skill base, and I came home motivated, inspired, up-skilled and in absolute awe of my future possibilities within the hair industry.
So, here I am again, with 10 months of skills and experience from my study through Clip Joint education in my toolbox, I'm going to Hair Expo Australia - 2014, with your assistance!!!

This year I am taking this journey solo, being a Single Mum of a 3 yr old, and living with Multiple Sclerosis, I have developed some amazing skills of independence, and this year I've decided to test out my people skills too, by travelling alone.
I'm going to push myself EVEN further this year, now I know what to expect from the event, I'm going to make myself available for more educational opportunities, and I'm going to immerse myself in the culture of Hair Expo, completely.
My pledge to you, is that the more knowledge I gain, the more I will share it with others, whether it be through client interaction, online tutorials, or showcasing the highest quality of my work, I’ll be there sharing all the goodness with you! Thank you again!

How The Funds Will Be Used
This funding will aid and assist my participation in this years’ HAIR EXPO AUSTRALIA, 7 - 9 June, 2014, at the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour.
Being an artistic individual, a single mother, and part-time student does not come without financial strain and that’s why I am reaching out to you and asking for your pledges!
Costs include:
- Flights - $400
- Educational experiences - Rae Morris (makeup workshop) & Lorna Evans (upstyling workshop) @ $199 each
- Accomodation - $440
- Apprentice Pass - $385 (plus booking fee) - includes 2 day 'Look'n'Learn' workshop pass, and entry to the NextGen Gala.
Opening Gala - $179 (plus booking fee)
Grand total: $1802 ex. booking fees, target amount rounded up to cover booking, transfer, transportation & PayPal fees.

I don't see any obstacles to success with this project, as I have successfully used Pozible in the past!
