The end of October sees Melbourne transformed into a game developer's wonderland thanks to Game Connect Asia Pacific, Unite Australia and PAX Australia. It's going to be a huuuuuge week for game developers who will be in town. 

On Sunday 2 November, Game developers of all ilks are invited to end the week on a relaxed high note at the Mega Dev Party 2! It was a great night last year, and we'll be looking to build on that, but need your help.

Supported by the IGDA Melbourne community we'll be catching up for winding down over a drink or few before calling it a wrap. Venue details are to be confirmed and are dependent on the final amount raised, but will be in South Bank or the CBD.

Sponsors are very welcome, and this year we are offering a range of ticketing options to suit all budgets.

We've chosen Pozible because they're great, they're Melbourne based and they allow us to make sure we've got what's needed to put on an exceptional night.

Funds will be used  for:

- Venue Hire and Security as needed
- food and beverage catering.

Should funding exceed expectations, additional funds will be used to add bells and whistles* to the night, mostly in the form of additional food and drinks.

*metaphorical bells and whistles that could come in a variety of forms.

The challenges are all ones I've met with before. Ensuring enough interest for the event after such a big week is probably the greatest challenge. Followed closely by getting the most 'bang for their buck' for supporters.
