"GoT chess" is the answer to the question, "What do you have for us to play?" This campaign, which is in 3 stages to reward the early adopters, is the final journey to complete our vision of producing our initial 3 versions of GoT chess, whilst approaching HBO to secure a license to re-name & market the sets as "Game of Thrones" chess, which we believe to be a perfect marriage. We have also launched a website where you can participate at exactly the same levels but the funds we save in not having any hosting fees are able to be donated to 2 charities. How The Funds Will Be Used
Stage 1: Raise sufficient funds to produce manufacturer’s models of the 3 versions of the “GoT CHESS” game including 3D printed pieces (24 X 3 sizes), boards (3) & packaging (including graphics), as well as approach HBO for a “Game of Thrones” license.
The Challenges
The greatest challenge we have is awareness. All the physical & logistical hurdles are relatively easy to overcome once we have reached a sufficient number of interested participants. Approximately 50 days after achieving the stage 1 goal we will have produced all the items listed in the campaign, allowing us to move to stage 2, which is to raise sufficient funds to produce moulds for the manufacture of our pieces. The required amount for stage 2 is an additional $50,000 & 30 days. The third & final stage is to raise sufficient funds to meet manufacturer’s minimum order numbers (1,000 of each version), which requires an additional $60,000 & is a timeframe entirely determined by the speed with which we achieve this target.

The “Squire” set is comprised of a playing surface made from a high quality, durable, pressed cardboard with the pieces moulded in plastic. The playing surface is 480mm x 480mm x 3mm when in use and the pieces range in size from 24.5mm high x 18mm wide to 61.25mm high x 25mm wide. Each set comes with playing surface, 68 pieces, a single 6 sided die, board set-up image & game play rules. It all folds neatly away into a convenient storage box.
