Her Maj said to herself in a pompous tone, Van Diemens Land needs itself a festival!!! To celebrate her comic-makers, her illustrators, her ZINES. In 2014 the first festival was held, and she saw that it was good. In 2015 she decreed that she wouldn’t rest on her Lady Grey leaves: a second festival was commanded! 

In Her 2nd year - 2015 will be THE YEAR OF THE EXHIBITION
We have FOUR exhibitions planned for this year's festival - that and and a whole tonne of other great things
- a zine fair
- comic launches
- illustrator talks
- fun lectures (yes those two words work together sometimes)
- mainlander artists
- Tasmanian artists!

This festival is run on an oily rag so we try our best to use free venues. All our artists are in this to help promote each other, we're all volunteering and having a ball. BUT, we still do come across some costs. We need some money for some incidental things such as framing, printing, and a few larger costs for a couple of flights for one Melbourne artist (to be announced later). 

BUT - we ain't asking much, just about $600 and we'll be able to cope. That's ALL... 

SO we have asked around for GENEROUS artists to contribute some stuff that you may wish to BUY and LO AND BEHOLD - they have contributed much artfulness to our cause. 
Such generous people artists... such generous people. 
We have tonnes of great rewards for thou to partake in (should ye so wish to of course).
