Come on an adventure to Mt Druitt.
FUNPARK is an exciting skills development and contemporary arts initiative developed in collaboration with the Mt Druitt community.

I have started this campaign to bring back the hugely successful arts program FUNPARK which was presented in Mt Druitt as part of the 2014 SYDNEY FESTIVAL. This is an action that directly responds to the recent Struggle Street doco screened by SBS that has caused an enormous amount of anguish within the Mt Druitt and broader Western Sydney community.
On Sunday, July 19, FUNPARK will be back in Bidwill for a celebration of the community and people. FUNPARK will present original works from 2014; Cuppa tea with Therese, The Occult of Bidwill, presentations of video work 'The Underpass' and a screening of the acclaimed performance work; 'Mt Druitt Press Conference', presented by the Social Revolutionaries.

+ performances and presentations by Bunny Hoopstar, the DMC crew and Province.

City and broader Western Sydney audiences are welcome to attend. If you didn't catch FUNPARK in 2014 this is your chance to come and see what all the excitement is about!
FUNPARK is back with artists: 9Lives, Bunny Hoopstar, Province, Darrin Baker and The Social Revolutionaries.
See you at FUNPARK, in Mt Druitt. Your support will help reaffirm the positive lives and potential of young people in Mt Druitt.
We need your help to get FUNPARK re-ignited in July.
Money raised will be spent on producing the event, supporting community development programs, artists costs, and production costs.
Specifically, money is required for:
- Skills Development Workshops
- Performances
- Production Costs (lights, PA system, generator)
- Artist fees + production management fees
