'Endo & Us' is essentially an ode, a celebration of womanhood & strength. The aim of our documentary & campaign is to reveal through intimate and honest one on one interviews, the trials and tribulations that women with Endometriosis endure.

Honouring these points, ‘Endo & Us’ will be comprised of two main parts, first an intimate, interview-like portrait, featuring real women sharing their histories, then intercut with experimental, dream-like images that showcase the female body, movement, strength and spirit. 





The interview portraits will feature at least 18 women aged between 20-40 years. The diverse selection of women will sit in front of the camera and answer questions, similar to the ‘real people’ call and response interview technique. As they share their personal stories, the segments will have a confessional-like feel and focus on the talent’s facial features and body language.

The film will end on a positive note by showing the women coming together and embracing either each other, a family member, partner or close friend. This will invigorate our themes of strength and support, while giving the audience a bittersweet and uplifting finale.









These dream-like cut aways will be filmed separately to the interviews. They will feature specially cast dancers that will serve to symbolically reflect the thoughts and feelings of the women speaking, while enhancing the energy and rhythm of the film. This segment is about finding beautiful moments in a frame and experimenting with high-speed capture (2000fps), movement, props and lighting. This will perfectly be represented by our performers artistic presence and screen direction. The interviews serve as the foundation of the documentary, however the feelings and emotions associated with this condition can not always be voiced. Therefore dance will used as a means of further expression. Through the use of classical & contemporary ballet (shot in incredible slow motion) we aim to offer a visceral and poetic expression that visually portrays the interviewee's naked emotions.

All donations made through Pozible will go towards the making, completion and distribution of this 22 minute documentary. 


Our dedicated team has worked extremely hard for this project and worthwhile cause. At this stage it's up to YOU to decide how far this campaign goes. Please help us further community, awww hell, WORLDWIDE awareness and reach as many victims, families and friends as possible.


As this project is 'non for profit' our team have put together an incredibly modest budget that focuses on the most crucial elements of our filmmaking process. This basically means that a LOT of people have donated their time and skills for this amazing cause! But alas, we can only get so far on favours, kindness and offering beer as payment. We do not expect to profit personally from this campaign. We would merely like to help others and explore our filmmaking interests in a positive and constructive way.
